A NORTHWEST WHIRLWIND TOUR

For those who want to make the most of their trip to Oregon, our friend, The Funhog, has taken the time to compile a concise, comprehensive, "whirlwind" tour of the region. It includes letterboxing tips, tourist information, and some great insider information about lesser-known gems that are well worth visiting while you're here!

BE A BUDDY (Carpooling and Sleepovers)

  • A Yahoo! group called "Live and Breathe Roadtrip" has been formed to enable out-of-town guests to communicate and arrange road trips to Portland for this event.  (Thanks, mainekokopellian, for taking the initiative to make this happen!)
     
  • We've also set up a group called "Need a Bed/ Gotta Bed", so the out-of-towners needing a place to stay and the locals who have a couch or spare bed to offer can connect and work out the details among themselves. (We're hoping that this would also be the place for the out-of-towners to secure a ride from the locals, to and from the camp.)
